Creating a Notion Calendar

Setting up Notion Calendar
In this section, we will walk through creating a Notion Calendar account.

Open and sign in to Notion

Navigate to your Notion sidebar
Open Notion and navigate to your notion sidebar.

Go to Notion Calendar
Left click on the Calendar button on your Notion page sidebar.

Sign in with Google Account
A pop-up window appears with the option to Sign in with Google. Left click on the Sign in with Google button.

Sign in to Google Account
You'll be directed to a page titled Sign in to continue to Notion Calendar. Enter your Google email and password. Left click on the Continue button to allow Google to share information.

Allow Google to share your Google account information
Left click on the Continue button to allow Google to share your name, email address, language preference, and profile picture with Notion Calendar.

Allow Access to Google Calendar (if necessary)

Ensure at least View your calendar settings, View and edit events on all your calendars, and See, edit, share, and permanently delete all the calendars you can access using Google Calendar are selected.
Select any other options you would like Notion Calendar to have access to. Left click on the Continue button to proceed to the next step.

If access was successfully allowed, you will see a Notion Calendar page displaying the week of the current date.
Using Notion Calendar
Once you have succesfully created a Notion Calendar account, you can move on to creating a Notion Calendar event. Let's walk through creating a Notion Calendar event.

Create a new Notion Calendar event
Right click on the date and around the relative time of the event. Left click on the Create event button from the options provided. A pop-up window will appear on the right side of your Notion Calendar to enter event details.

Enter Notion Calendar event details
Once you have left clicked on the Create event button, a pop-up window will appear on the right side of your Notion Calendar, allowing you to enter various event details. Here's what you can input:
- Title: Enter a title for your event.
- Duration: Specify the duration of the event.
- Date and Time: Set the date and time for your event.
- Time Zone: Select the appropriate time zone for your event.
- Recurring Event: Choose if the event repeats and set the recurrence pattern if necessary.
- Participants: Add participants to the event.
- Conferencing: Include conferencing details if applicable.
- Location: Specify the location of the event.
- Docs and Links: Attach documents or add relevant links to the event.
- Description: Provide a description or additional information about the event.
- Google Account: Select which Google account to add the event to, if you have multiple accounts linked.
- Visibility: Choose the visibility status of your event. (Defaults to "busy")
- Reminder Options: Set reminder options for the event. (Defaults to 30 minutes before the event)

Review and confirm event details
Once you are satisfied with the details, simply close the event creation window. Your event will be automatically saved and added to your Notion Calendar. You can now view your newly created event on your calendar and proceed with any additional tasks or events.
